... release your judgements, and be humble towards Life.

“When we speak of Nature it is wrong to forget that we are ourselves a part of Nature. We ought to view ourselves with the same curiosity and openness with which we study a tree, the sky or a thought, because we too are linked to the entire universe.”

Henri Matisse

The L.O.V.E season is here...

Spreading the L.O.V.E (Living One Vibrational Energy) ... we all want the same things, respect and enjoy that thought! Boas Festas, pelo corpo todo ; )

“Don’t search for heaven and hell in the future. Both are now present. Whenever we manage to love without expectations, calculations, negotiations, we are indeed in heaven. Whenever we fight, hate, we are in hell."

It's how you see it...

“I asked, ‘Why have I received only this?’
A voice replied, ‘Only this’ will lead you to ‘only That‘”

Rumi

Clean up your lenses. Let the light pass through them with ease and enjoy the beautiful view that is Life. Open your eyes for what is wrong and change the perspective: what can you do right about it? Fairness? Who needs fairness when everyone gets the same thing in the end... you either live proudly or not. You either take pleasure on it, or not. You either feel it with your senses and your heart and laugh! or not... What do you choose?

C'mon, work hard towards your dreams!

“Your decision to keep on the path or to leave it must be free of fear or ambition. I warn you. Look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. This question is one that only a very old man asks. My benefactor told me about it once when I was young, and my blood was too vigorous for me to understand it. Now I do understand it. I will tell you what it is: Does this path have a heart? All paths are the same: they lead nowhere. They are paths going through the bush, or into the bush. In my own life I could say I have traversed long, long paths, but I am not anywhere. My benefactor’s question has meaning now. Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn’t, it is of no use. Both paths lead nowhere; but one has a heart, the other doesn’t. One makes for a joyful journey; as long as you follow it, you are one with it. The other will make you curse your life. One makes you strong; the other weakens you.”

"The Teachings of Don Juan" - Carlos Castaneda

Your own mirror...

Because it's how we see ourselves that really matters, look at yourself the most fondly, caring way. Love yourself as you would, will, or already love a child, partner, angel, or God! Look into your eyes and appreciate all that you are. Walk proudly! Fight for Joy, Light, Greatness!

Transform from victim to Hero!

We're here. Right now, right here. You're reading this post almost at the same time I'm writing my Hopes and Dreams. Along with the years I've learned that the only reason why I haven't grown as I wish, is because I've been afraid to grow. I always thought that growing was for others. I thought I was different from everyone else. Others were always normal and happy, while I was different and afraid of being happy.

Why is it hard to believe that we deserve happiness?

All we need is in front of us. ALL.

I keep looking for opportunities and lucky chances, but I'm the amulet, I'm the magician, I’m the writer of my very own destiny, and Dreams are what they are. Dreams are meant to be dreamt, meant to only exist in our minds, for fun! or for some other ulterior deep message. But chasing them leads nowhere. To be happy all we need is right now. To breath and laugh. To watch and smile. To caress and love. To live and appreciate.

“Scars show you where you’ve been in the past, but they don’t lead your Future”

Whatever is in the Past, that’s where it belongs. Move past it. Set yourself free to be yourself the fullest. We’re not living this life forever. One day it’s over. One day it won’t matter. What matters is how you feel right now, and from there, what scent you leave behind you. Are you giving love, and sharing good memories. Are you having FUN? Are you an example of a fighter, an inspiration, a romantic, an altruistic and non-selfish someone, a confider, a friend, a warm shoulder... That’s what matters. BELIEVE you can BE whatever you set yourself to be.

Still, what I want in my life
is to be willing
to be dazzled—
to cast aside the weight of facts

and maybe even
to float a little
above this difficult world.

What does really matter to you?

What are we really?

Start living today

“Let the world call you lazy for not running about like a frightened ghost. Just be quiet inside yourself. Don’t bother about knowing how things should be and simply begin observing without prejudice, projections, or desires. Notice how life flows of its own accord. Nothing here is a chaos, but a harmony. You are already inside this flow.”
— Mooji

Live a beautiful Life...

When you LET GO you become Free. When you're Free, everything becomes possible. Focus in being Kind and your life will become a beautiful story on Love. If you focus on the negative, nothing positive will come. LET GO and focus your Heart, the engine of Life, in everything that has light, kindness, joy. Keep remembering yourself in choosing the best outcome. You're smart, you know the path to being the best possible you. Be the best you can be, live that opportunity, live that challenge, get excited in this mission: to be the best version of yourself. Get inspired and inspire others...

Abundance! Inhale it ; )

"Choosing a belief system that cultivates abundance is crucial. But how do we do it? The simplest way to look at this—and also the most productive—is to recognize that you are always processing your life. There is input and output, forming a feedback loop. Input is the term for all the experiences that come your way during the day, while output is all your responses: your thoughts, words and actions. You are the one who oversees both. You sift through the input, evaluate it and take what you like, while rejecting what you don't like. Nothing is more crucial than your contribution to the feedback loop: You are the one who colors everything that comes your way, using intention, belief, expectation, wishes, hopes, dreams and fears. No input is neutral, because you are emotionally invested in your experiences. At the other end of the process, when you produce output, you again color it the same way. Your thoughts, words and actions indicate how involved you are in your life. Thus the circle of personal reality is shaped, every minute of every day." (...)

Making a choice...

Take a moment to observe one choice before you today. Prior to making a decision, check in with your inner voice and ask yourself, “Is this the most nourishing choice for me and everyone around me?” If the answer does not feel right to you, then consider making another decision. If when you check in with yourself, your choice feels right in your heart, then proceed with abandon.

If you're going to San Francisco...

We fall... in order to RISE

“Kindness
will always
speak louder
than hate.

Hate
is the fear
of falling,

whereas kindness
has fallen and risen
so many times before,
it holds no room for fear,

only forgiveness.”

The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.”
~
Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

You are not your story but your actions.

Your story is what you tell others, is what you tell to yourself, but it could be made of little lies, misinterpretations, false turns. Your actions are the truth in you. Actions don't lie. If you've done something wrong in the past, that you regret and everyday you wish you could erase it from your Life Story, don't believe that what you did it's not you. You are that wrong choice. For some reason you might not know yet, you chose to do wrong. Accept it as it is and learn from it, don't erase it. No need to bring back to the surface either if it brings more hurt than peace, but accept that in your life you've made some bad choices based on what you knew at the time. By now, you should know better before committing the same or similar mistake. Be sure to pay attention to what you're doing. You'll know a lot more about yourself and your own true nature if you pay attention not to your thoughts but to your actions.

Strong foundations

Accept, say Yes, Believe... Be true to your Heart.

“Life is like a play: it’s not the length, but the excellence of the acting that matters.”
~
Seneca

“This fundamental richness is available in each moment. The key is to relax: relax to a cloud in the sky, relax to a tiny bird with gray wings, relax to the sound of the telephone ringing. We can see the simplicity in things as they are. We can smell things, taste things, feel emotions, and have memories. When we are able to be there without saying, “I certainly agree with this,” or “I definitely don’t agree with that,” but just be here very directly, then we find fundamental richness everywhere. It is not ours or theirs but is available always to everyone. In raindrops, in blood drops, in heartache and delight, this wealth is the nature of everything. It is like the sun in that it shines on everyone without discrimination. It is like a mirror in that it is willing to reflect anything without accepting or rejecting.”
~
Excerpt From: Chödrön, Pema. “When Things Fall Apart”

“There are two core fears: losing what you have, and not getting what you want. The solution? Falling in love with where you are.”
~
Jeff Foster

To be The Fool

“But WORDS are things,
and a small drop of ink,
falling like dew,
upon a thought, produces
that which makes thousands,
perhaps millions, think.”

Lord Byron.

On growing up...

Why do we force ourselves towards “impossible” challenges?! ... To know ourselves and become humble about what it is to BE human. To be honest about our dreams and fears is the only way to really grow...

"A person experiences life as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. Our task must be to free ourselves from this self-imposed prison, and through compassion, to find the reality of Oneness."

For the Water people outhere...

“Work as hard as you can, imagine immensities, don’t compromise, and don’t waste time. Start now. Not 20 years from now, not two weeks from now. Now.”

"If the twentieth-century career was a ladder that we climbed from one predictable rung to the next, the twenty-first-century career is more like a broad rock face that we are all free-climbing. There’s no defined route, and we must use our own ingenuity, training, and strength to rise to the top. We must make our own luck."

Take control over your Dreams...

“You are what you settle for”
~
Janis Joplin

"Lucky people take advantage of chance occurrences that come their way. Instead of going through life on cruise control, they pay attention to what’s happening around them and, therefore, are able to extract greater value from each situation… Lucky people are also open to novel opportunities and willing to try things outside of their usual experiences. They’re more inclined to pick up a book on an unfamiliar subject, to travel to less familiar destinations, and to interact with people who are different than themselves."
~
Tina Seelig

"This is your life; savor it. Hold on to the threads across days that, when woven together, reveal the rich tapestry of what you are achieving and who you are becoming. The best part is that, seeing the story line appearing, you can actively create what it — and you — will become."
~
Steven Kramer and Teresa Amabile
“Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe it to be a beautiful place.”
~
Kurt Vonnegut

I wish...

to have my heart beat, be the rhythm that makes me dance all the time... especially when no one is watching, especially when I'm being led by my lover's desire.

Desire can look like this:

Or like this...

We're all so very similar... but live so different lives

“It’s amazing how you can affect somebody else so deeply even with the simplest gestures of goodwill and friendship. It’s equally amazing if not more, when without exception you train your mind to see others as people who matters…as an added bonus, you start seeing yourself in the same way.”

Do it with meaningfulness

It’s best to be a Dreamer than a pessimist, but hey, we’ve got to keep in mind the system behind all things. Rules are necessary. They provide stability, balance and fairness. If we turn to be just Dreamers, we don’t actually end up creating anything. Things end up just happening inside our heads. So, be present, meaning, don’t suffer in anticipation and keep your head on what’s in front of you right NOW, but don’t just stand in the NOW, use it to plan, to build, to take the first, the second, the third baby step to build your dream.

Because what really matters is WHY

"My favourite surf spot is anywhere I can have a wave with a few friends, not too crowded, have a giggle. That's the best spot you can find, as far as I am concerned. It doesn't have to be anywhere special, it just has to be somewhere where you're having a good time."
~ Jack McCoy

On Love ...

... and why no one can explain why we let it be sometimes the thing that hurts us the most and we keep holding on to it...

"(...)
If only they could see
If only they had been here
They would understand
How someone could have chosen
To go the length I've gone
To spend just one day riding
Holding on to you
I never thought it would be this clear."

“Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.”

Henry David Thoreau

Try to have a gentle thought for things, even the bad ones.

“You hold in your hand an invitation: to remember the transforming power of forgiveness and loving kindness. To remember that no matter where you are and what you face, within your heart peace is possible.”

Jack Kornfield

Open up to yourself and find out what scares you...

... then, with LOVE, embrace your fear and speak to yourself gently. Understand why you feel scared, tell yourself that now you know you have a wound needed to be heal and follow with the treatment. I can be: screaming your name; writing a fake letter to whom it may concern; or to dance the fear away...

“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own Soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

Carl Jung
