Another opportunity...
It's not that we, mind-spirit-body beings, don't change. But our essence is permanent. Our essence is eternal. Our essence has no time or space properties. That's why we can sense each other, we can feel the collective, we transmute from one state to another. But each and one of us does choose how he/she wants to live. You can be who ever you want to be, "be" as in having a certain job, wearing certain clothes, speaking a certain way, caring for a certain amount of people... but who you really are, who your eyes reveal beyond any words, will never change. It will be lifted up, raised in Love or it will diminish and darken in pity and false assumptions. You can choose...
Who you are has no limits, and we know to little of it to comprehend its infinite dimensions, but what you become it's your choice, and your choice only.
Don't blame school, or parents or failed love stories. Take a step forward and immerse yourself in you. You'll feel the connection with the rest of the World. You will feel the pain but also the bravery of beautiful souls that walk aside you. Choose consciousness. Choose to be authentic. Live authentically.
To live in full awareness it's not the same as shutting yourself off this world, closing your eyes and imagining the world is just a still image beautifully photoshopped, that you can easily share on social networks. Awareness is engaging in Life as it is, with your heart in it, with an intention. You have neighbors, you need food and you produce garbage, you don't have all the stuff you wish, you could do better in your job, in your relationship, with your social life, you could and you can be aware of all that, and choose to embrace reality. You can be a nice person and still work hard and laugh harder. Committed and free to grow. Authentic. No shoulds, woulds, coulds... just I am, I can, I do, I eat, I sleep, I play, I speak...
“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”

Why is it that when we get to close to another person we stop seeing them?
We get so close that we start mixing up our doubts with theirs, their habits with ours and slowly we loose track of what actually got us closer. It wasn't the mirroring of ourselves in them but the possibility of change and growth. The openness to a wider perspective on Life. But we have this tendency to narrow things down... and narrow, and simplify, and make it easy till the essence of what is was is "lost in translation". This process of putting into our own words what's someone else language and life is impoverishing. Don't...
Keep being curious, keep being open, keep playing...
Don't let the "I know" get in the way of what is a slow, beautiful and enriching process of getting to know another Life. And once again feel the gratitude for being a part of this amazing existence. Yeah, there's some bad, selfish and greedy souls, but even with them, you can raise up your voice and give Love & Respect a chance to expand. Whatever you choose to believe, let it be within the vision of Love and Freedom. Each one of us has his/hers own meaning and purpose. Just remember that the more sweetness you add the more you'll become.
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.“
_
Melody Beattie
Where to start?
“Close your eyes, let your hands and nerve-ends drop, stop breathing for 3 seconds, listen to the silence inside the illusion of the world, and you will remember the lesson you forgot, which was taught in immense milky way soft cloud innumerable worlds long ago and not even at all.
It is all one vast awakened thing. I call it the golden eternity. It is perfect.
We were never really born, we will never really die. It has nothing to do with the imaginary idea of a personal self, other selves, many selves everywhere: Self is only an idea, a mortal idea. That which passes into everything is one thing. It’s a dream already ended. There’s nothing to be afraid of and nothing to be glad about.”

Life is not short.
Going through Seneca's words...
On the Shortness of Life
"Putting things off is the biggest waste of life: it snatches away each day as it comes, and denies us the present by promising the future. The greatest obstacle to living is expectancy, which hangs upon tomorrow and loses today. You are arranging what lies in Fortune’s control, and abandoning what lies in yours. What are you looking at? To what goal are you straining? The whole future lies in uncertainty: live immediately."
(...)
"No one will bring back the years; no one will restore you to yourself. Life will follow the path it began to take, and will neither reverse nor check its course. It will cause no commotion to remind you of its swiftness, but glide on quietly. It will not lengthen itself for a king’s command or a people’s favor. As it started out on its first day, so it will run on, nowhere pausing or turning aside. What will be the outcome? You have been preoccupied while life hastens on. Meanwhile death will arrive, and you have no choice in making yourself available for that."
(...)
How can we engage in a real fruition of Life?
"You must match time’s swiftness with your speed in using it, and you must drink quickly as though from a rapid stream that will not always flow… Just as travelers are beguiled by conversation or reading or some profound meditation, and find they have arrived at their destination before they knew they were approaching it; so it is with this unceasing and extremely fast-moving journey of life, which waking or sleeping we make at the same pace — the preoccupied become aware of it only when it is over."
(...)
And for those who complain that they had not the same opportunities as others, here's a smart reply:
"We are in the habit of saying that it was not in our power to choose the parents who were allotted to us, that they were given to us by chance. But we can choose whose children we would like to be. There are households of the noblest intellects: choose the one into which you wish to be adopted, and you will inherit not only their name but their property too. Nor will this property need to be guarded meanly or grudgingly: the more it is shared out, the greater it will become. These will offer you a path to immortality and raise you to a point from which no one is cast down. This is the only way to prolong mortality — even to convert it to immortality."

Do not Fear, fall into.
“You may have to get what you want
To discover that it is not enough.
You may have to lose what you have
To discover that it was never really yours.
You may have to lose all of your hope
To open up to all of life’s possibilities.
You may have to feel a deeper sorrow
To discover a joy that has no opposite.
You may have to fail
To discover that you cannot fail.
Have courage, friend.
Your destination is shifting.
If you are lost,
you can always find yourself
here.”

Elevate your own energy
Why not believe that there are angels embracing you in their wings of love and allow yourself to feel an incredible, peaceful, and comforting warmth...
Let go...
... you don't need to impress anyone, not even yourself.
... you don't need to prove anything, not even to yourself.
... you don't need to scream to be heard, or even whisper. You are heard.
... you don't need to be serious to exist.
Exist with your Heart. Feel its joy when you're home.
Your home it's you and the whole Universe. Feel all that greatness and bow.
You're home.
“I know a planet inhabited by a red faced gentleman. He’s never smelled a flower. He’s never looked at a star, He’s never loved anyone. He’s never done anything except add up numbers. And all day long he says over and over, just like you, ‘I’m a serious man! I’m a serious man!’ And that puffs him up with pride. But he’s not a man at all-He’s a mushroom!”
_
The Little Prince
“The only defense against this world, is to be happy where you are (...) A sense of humor can be an invaluable companion on our spiritual journey. There is a tendency, once we have embarked on the path of meditation, to take ourselves way too seriously, to become far too critical of others, to become heavy and pedantic. Keeping our sense of humor can be the antidote."

Own your impact...
I bow towards my mistakes and selfish decisions that led to hurt. I bow towards those unfortunate decisions because I've learned from them and grew. I've learned that our Heart is more compassionate than our mind will ever be. Our Heart holds more freedom and compassion than we can imagine. But we also must be brave to have the openness of speaking our Heart and listen to another Heart. It's not just putting outhere who you are or wish to be, but also, to truly listen when you ask, when you speak and when you're told. Your choices will come from that space and so will be your impact in this world. Own your impact and be amazed by the immensity of forgiveness you'll feel from those close to you or that once were.
But remember also, who forgives everything, doesn't really care for anything... The act of forgiveness is an act of giving and true Love.
But remember also, who forgives everything, doesn't really care for anything... The act of forgiveness is an act of giving and true Love.

"O que as pessoas mais desejam é alguém que as escute de maneira calma e tranquila. Em silêncio. Sem dar conselhos. Sem que digam: “Se eu fosse você”. A gente ama não é a pessoa que fala bonito. É a pessoa que escuta bonito. A fala só é bonita quando ela nasce de uma longa e silenciosa escuta. É na escuta que o amor começa. E é na não-escuta que ele termina. Não aprendi isso nos livros. Aprendi prestando atenção."

Do you really care?
We live Life in a constant rush. We need this and that, and we must, and we should, and we have to and all the space we had to marvel to this amazing existence is swollen by doubts, and fears and questions that don’t open us towards beauty, but instead, they grow even more doubts in ourselves. STOP!
Stop…
Apologize yourself for not being there right now. Apologize yourself for needing to make mistakes in order to learn. Apologize yourself for being selfish and just simply be.
We have this feeling that if we could we would have made different choices, we would have chosen different words, we would have gone a different path, but we couldn’t, accept that. You and me and everyone else, when it comes to living, the only thing we can do is our best and usually that is not enough to get all the answers right.
If you apologize others so easily, why can’t you do the same to yourself. Don’t carry your regrets within you. They just put you down, they change your energy, your attitude, into disbelieving what is true to you and only to you.
We all grow at different rhythms, different paces, most of the time we feel clueless and we just don’t know we could act differently. We can change who we are, but not how we feel. But we can change who we are. Listen to your own soul, they say that in “saudades” is where the soul lives. If we keep ourselves in track, focused we can actually change into who we want so much to be, a happy, fulfilled self.
With time we learn how to choose wisely and that will be one of our most important Life’s wisdom. To choose.
We don’t have time to see, listen, touch or taste all the wonders of this world. We must choose which ones are important to us and to those we must give our full attention, our full presence. We learn that just being passionate about things it’s frugal, like an artist gets inebriated by it’s own self fruition and feels empty a few seconds after. It’s only when you Love that the essence of things and people unveils to you.
Very few things should really matter to us, but those that do matter, care for them. Care for them with the same intensity as the pain you feel when you loose them.

Nothing comes for free
Took a little time to get where I wanted
It took a little time to get free
It took a little time to be honest
It took a little time to be me
I took a little lover but then we parted
I took a little time to get over this
From time to time, I get heavyhearted
Thinking of how you used to kiss
Courage
It's a feeling like no other
Let me tell you, yeah
Courage
In harmony with something other than your ego
Courage
The sweet belief of knowing nothing comes for free
Do you really wanna know,
About these lines on my face?
Well, each and every one is testament to
All the mistakes I've had to make
To find courage
It's a feeling like no other
Let me tell you, yeah
Courage
In harmony with something other than your ego
Courage
The sweet belief of knowing nothing comes for free
For free...
Courage
It's a feeling like no other
Let me tell you, yeah
Courage
And harmony with something other than your ego
Courage
The sweet belief of knowing nothing comes for free
