... desapontamento.
O que é abster-se? Porquê abster-se? Que desapontamento, porque apesar de terem direito, de terem a liberdade de escolher, tanta gente não escolhe e deixa os outros escolherem por elas.
Que desapontamento, que o mesmo homem que não consegue brincar com uma criança, nem ser verdadeiro provando-se espontâneo e genuíno, tenha voltado ao seu trono.
Precisamos tanto de alguém que não pense por nós mas pelos nossos pequeninos, que de consciência livre nos perguntam, mas porquê é que eles fazem se sabem que é errado, ninguém ralha com eles??

"People don't expect government to solve all their problems. But they sense, deep in their bones, that with just a slight change in priorities, we can make sure that every child in America has a decent shot at life, and that the doors of opportunity remain open to all. They know we can do better."

Momentum...
The Ego either wants to live in the Past, regretting what it could have done differently, or it lives in the Future, constantly afraid of what can happen. Don’t let it. Set yourself free. By now you’ll now what is it that you want: you’re probably thinking about it all the time, or you keep pushing it for later, or you keep it as a secret dream, as a secret wish.

"O tempo foge..."
"O tempo foge..." e foge para onde, foge de quê?
A mudar alguns pensamentos e notas de uma agenda para outra, revejo o tempo que passou e os objectivos incumpridos. Os sucessos, estranhamente não são apontados na agenda (por certo estarei demasiado alegre a celebrar e sem tempo para escrever sobre eles...).
Muitos desenhos e pequenas histórias serão esquecidos na agenda antiga. Não vou arrancar as páginas e colá-las nas páginas em branco da agenda nova. Ficaria sem espaço para escrever coisas novas. Teria que viver com desenhos de momentos passados, desenhar por cima e isso não tem jeito nenhum, imagine-se a confusão. Custa deixar para trás esses desenhos bonitos, mas custa também carregar constantemente os livros e memórias que gostamos. Se calhar têm que ser arrumados num sítio especial, e só de vez em quando retirados, para lembrar que a "vida é bela", mesmo quando há um manto de núvens a tapar o sol.
E para os restantes pensamentos, fica esta musica...

Portalegre
No problems when you're in nature...
Once more, enjoying the weekend by going for a long 10km walk in Marvão, and Cabeço de Vide, Portalegre. The autumn colors inspire introspective thoughts: where do I want to go? what can I do better? where can I help?
Portugal is going through a rough time. The feeling of disbelieve in the rulers of our society is huge. Who can we trust? This feeling of not knowing in who to trust ruins the necessary spirit of community. We need to feel that we know and that we can count on our neighbors, in our politicians, in our banks, in our private companies. There can be no prosperity in a dying society. Making money at all cost is just feeding the increasing material and spiritual poverty.
We are getting poorer when we act only as individuals, and not as part of mankind. Who is teaching our children, who is taking care of our elders, who is sharing with the needed, who is giving a warm smile to the depressed?
To share an inspiring experience (hope you join me next time!):

Passeios...
Aproveitando os fins-de-semana para passear, para sair da cidade, para me desafiar numa prova... Estas fotos são do caminho ao Monte Abraão ou Monte das 3 cruzes na Arrábida e depois da manhã de Domingo em Montemor, antes da prova super-sprint-triatlo, que termino com vida e cheia de contente, cruzando o pórtico desenhado por mim! Dias completos : ) bom...
